Loving the Summer Cosmetics Business

So here’s what I love today. It’s all about the minimalist summer makeup. I can go with these total basics: Loreal Voluminous mascara (I like the brown-black, non-waterproof, straight applicator, I’m just saying)

and the Maybelline Superstay lipcolor #774 (which goes on wet and dries gluey, then you spread on the included gloss-thing, and I swear, this stuff stays on for 24 hours. Eating, talking, kissing… it stays).

And that is all (hooray for a tan). Lasts all day, even through the nap.

Not that I’m totally condoning the lifestyle of the super-market-makeup buyer, but… oh wait. Yes I am. Go, grocery store makeup.

Susan Auten - Maybelline should reimbursement you for your endorsement, because like Kim, I’m so going to get me some. I have make up OCD. It doesn’t matter that it’s summertime and I’m tan, I still wear the full entourage. And I go with waterproof mascara so I can jump in the pool and my makeup won’t smear off. Melanie J - Yeah, I’m all over that lipstick now too. My supermarket makeup addiction is Lash Blast mascara. I can’t remember the brand but I think it’s Cover Girl. It’s a worthy successor to Lancome’s Defencils which is EIGHT BILLION DOLLARS a tube because it’s made of diamonds. Or something.August 11, 2010 – 8:11 pm
